Clinical details

A 5-year-old female child presenting with h/o

  • Pain in the right thigh for 3 months

  • Pain present at night

  • Increases on walking

  • No h/o trauma/fever/multiple joint pains

 

On Examination:

  • Mild tenderness right thigh region

  • No swelling

  • Hip and knee joints free of pain

 

Laboratory findings:6 January 2015

  • Alkaline Phosphatase - 181U/L (Normal range 40-125)

  • LDH - 479U/L (Normal range 225-460)

  • Calcium - 9.9mg% (Normal range 8.3-10.4)

  • Phosphorous - 5.5mg% (Normal range2.5-4.6)
