 Diagnosis

 Progressive diaphyseal dysplasia-Engelmann’s disease.

​

 Radiograph of Both Forearms/ hands/ legs

  • Bilateral symmetrical involvement of long bones , predominantly the diaphysis with typical sparing of epiphysis.

  • There is expansion of diaphysis of long bones  and metacarpals with endosteal thickening and  increased bone density.
